Texas Board of Professional Engineers

Austin, TX

General Contractor:  CORZA Construction

Project:  Concrete Stairs and Landings Repair & Resurfacing

This project was for a repair and resurfacing of approximately 3,500 square feet of concrete stairs and landings. The client had issues in the past with the surface of the stairs being slippery, especially when it’s wet. Therefore, CORZA Construction removed 1 inch to 1-1/2” inch of the 20+ year-old concrete surface. We placed new concrete and applied a broom finish which provided a rough surface and greatly decreases the chances of slipping while traveling up and down the stairway.
